Tax Credits and Energy Incentive Rebates: 

Oregon incentive rebates:
Energy Trust is offering a $600 cash incentive for homeowners who install an inverter-driven ductless heat pump with a minimum five-year warranty. If you are eligible, an incentive of $600 is available for each outdoor unit installed, regardless of the number of indoor units. Incentives are paid on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Washington incentive rebates:
Considerable savings are being offered by
Clark Public Utilities, they are offering a $1500.00 rebate for ductless heat pump installations. 
To qualify the home must use electricity as the primary heating source. Using cable ceiling heat,electric baseboard or wall units as primary source of heat, and must be installed by a qualifying contractor, Century Heating and A/C, Inc. is on Clark Public Utilities approved contractor list.

Federal Energy Tax Credits:
10% of cost up to $500 or a specific amount from $50 - $300
Expires: December 31, 2011
Details:  Must be an existing home & your principal residence.
New construction and rentals do not qualify.
