On  Memorial Day weekend Century Heating’s very own Daikin  Ductless Mini Split Portable Model was transported to the Three Rivers Marina General Store for display and demonstration where representatives Rowdy and Gary enthusiastically shared this new energy efficient technology with residents and vacationers!

They enjoyed the opportunity to connect with so many interesting people and  are excited about the interest generated in this outstanding product!

Century Heating Technician Attends Top Technician Training Classes April 2010
Our General Manager/ Technician attended classes from Mar-Hy on Improving Compressor Reliability, and Thermostatic Expansion Valves.
The "Improving Compressor Reliability"class focuses on taking a system approach, how each system impacts the compressor and how to take necessary actions to improve compressor reliability.
The " Thermostatic Expansion Valves"class explores why the thermostatic expansion valve is used and how it operates.This program is a must in the world of 13 plus SEER equipment. 

Century Heating Selected To Attend Daikins Altherma Installation Training in Irvine, CA.

Our Vice President, Rowdy, attended class for Daikin Altherma Installation. He thought class was very informative, and there were people from all across the country who were selected to attend. Several instructors were there to educate and supervise hands on training, in a nicely equiped facility.

Daikin Altherma, in combination with the new Daikin Solar Thermal System,
will provide a fully integrated heating and hot water solution.

                                                                                   

 

 

 





FEDERAL TAX CREDIT
As part of an effort to reduce dependence on foreign sources of energy, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 provides a tax credit to help offset the costs of making energy efficiency improvements to your home. Some key details of the program are as follows:
• The tax credits apply to a variety of products (including installation costs) such as windows, doors, heating and cooling equipment and more.
• The amount of the credit is equal to 30% of the installed cost of the qualifying products, up to a total of $1,500.
• If a qualifying purchase is not large enough to qualify for the maximum credit of $1,500, the remaining available tax credit can be claimed for additional qualifying purchases
To take advantage of the tax credits, you must purchase your qualifying high-efficiency comfort system between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010. Better yet, your savings won't be limited to a one-time tax credit. You'll continue saving every month with reduced monthly cooling and heating bills.

OREGON TAX CREDITS
$350.00 for a 92% + Gas Furnace with a ECM Motor.  $350.00 for a 92% + Gas Furnace with a ECM Motor.
Up to $300.00 for Qualifying Air Conditioners.
Up to $430.00 for Qualifying Heat pumps.
Up to $400.00 for Qualifying Tankless Water Heaters.
